This is a playlist dedicated to sparking those nostalgic memories within a Latin individual, anything from listening to mami’s and papi’s music in the car, to enjoying these jams at the carne asada, and everything in between. Cloves is inspired by the sounds of Brazilian jazz music. The plucked, mellow guitar lines, combined with the fact that my family constantly plays bossa nova music in the house, makes the playlist feel homey, warm and a little musty - just like the smell of cloves.​
